Healthcare Reform: Fall 2017 Update
This presentation will focus on the efforts by Congress in the summer of 2017 to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. We will discuss each of the significant Congressional bills – including the American Health Care Act (which passed the House on May 4), and the Better Care Reconciliation Act, the Obamacare Repeal Reconciliation Act, and “skinny” repeal (which were each proposed in the Senate). We will then focus on other potential actions that affect employers in the area of health care reform (and to a lesser extent, other actions that might affect the insurance market in general).
