Wage and Hour Investigator (WHI) at Wage and Hour Division (WHD)

WHI Roper studied International Relations in Mexico. She moved to the U.S. in 2014 and enrolled in UA Little Rock in 2016. She double majored in 2019 in International Studies and Political Science. Prior to joining WHD, she worked at the Mexican Consulate in Little Rock and was the Director of El Zócalo, a non-profit organization that serves the Hispanic community in Central Arkansas. She has conducted investigations with provisions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Nursing Mothers, §14c, §15(a)(3), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA), the Service Contract Act (SCA), the Immigration and Nationality Act §101(a)(15)(H)(ii)(a) and (H)(ii)(b), and others. Rosalinda and her husband enjoy taking care of their peacocks, chickens, and eight puppies under the strict supervision of Dr. Tulio, their cat. Rosalinda enjoys teaching ESL classes, volunteering in the community, preparing games for family gatherings to see her nieces and nephews happy.
